The Oystercatcher is committed to protecting your personal information and we respect your privacy so here is an explanation of how we collect, use and store information when you shop with us. All in accordance to the new laws and legislations concerning the protection of personal information.  

IN STORE - When you shop in store we do not collect data unless you are asked. We will usually take your full name, email address and/or telephone number to deal with product requests and this is stored securely on our system and not shared with any other affiliates. We take the same information to set up a customer account to enable you to have store credit. You have the right to have this information removed at any time

ONLINE - When you shop with us online you can browse our website without sharing any of your information. When you make a purchase your information is safely secured through our web provider, Shopify. You can read their Privacy policy here

Your shopping history and personal details remain accessible. This helps us to be able to track questions and concerns you have with any of our products and services.

CARD DETAILS -  We do not store credit card details. You will need to provide these each time you make a purchase in store, online or over the phone 

MARKETING AND NEWSLETTER - We send newsletters to our customers occasionally to inform you of new products and events. You have to have actively opted in to receive our newsletter. If you do not wish to receive our newsletter please unsubscribe. We will not share this information with any other third parties. We use Mailchimp, a secure marketing website 

COOKIES POLICY - Cookies are widely used to improve your shopping experience. They help to analyse site traffic, keep track of your shopping basket and generally show how a site is being used. We use cookies on our website to track data and all is done in accordance to the UK/EU cookie law.
